Once again, the local tribe gathered on sacred land to celebrate the First Fruits of the Harvest at Lammas.
We processed on a spiral path through fields of gold, bearing the Flower Goddess down to the River . . .
. . . for a cleansing and blessing ceremony.
We opened our hands . . .
. . . and our hearts, to receive the holy water.
Later we made a Goddess out of Bread (for Lammas, Loaf-Mass) . . .
And ended each evening with (what else?) a fire circle, drumming, dancing, singing and making merry.
Blessed be the First Harvest, and the two Harvests yet to come.
Looks perfect. Blessings on your harvest.
