Mmmmm . . . do we even need words for this one? How lovely to receive a card that's like an oasis of peace and calm as I move through one of the busiest weeks of my year.
Here's what I wrote in the Gaian Tarot companion book:
When you get this card in a reading . . .
You have the opportunity to relax into a time of calm, healing and grace. Your heart is wide open and you deeply feel your connection to Source, to God/dess, the Great Mystery. It is a most blessed time of hope, peace and well-being. You may experience yourself as part of a cosmic pattern, connected to everything else in the universe. This experience has been called nirvana, enlightenment, awakening. Cherish this experience when it is time for you to come back to “chop wood and carry water.”
What does this card say to you, dear Reader?
At my Imbolc celebration I recieved a message from the Goddess: "Breath with me" she whispered. Powerful for me since I have some troubles at times with astma. This is what this reminds me of. The breath of the Goddess.

I am so grateful for this image. The first time I saw it, I was overcome with a connection to the Divine, and brought to acknowledge the woman in the picture represented me on so many levels. That was nearly 8 years ago, and just the beginning of a very incredible journey. The Star is such a blessing, and allows one to reconnect with their spiritual self. It fills one with hope and also with the awareness that "we are all connected". It is SOOO beautiful! What else can I say. You are such a gifted artist, Joanna. Thank you.

Reminds me of my morning ablutions and the tremendous gift that water is. Even if it's only a few minutes of calm, it matters.

For me the star has always been about wishes being granted from the ether...unexpectly, not always large ones...but usually something that brings great joy or laughter. I would say that in the process of sending your deck out to the world...that would be a grand wish answered to all of us on the receiving end who have been waiting and watching for years...and to you to let it go, as the final portion of it's manifestation...kind of like blowing the seeds off a dandelion...knowing they'll land to grow another happy yellow flower.
The card is perfect for this week, and this wonderful connection between you and your fans.
Many bright blessings await as the ripples in the pond grow with this beautiful deck!
