Oh Joanna, this is wonderful! lol The last 2 days I have been seeing black birds feathers everywhere...I even picked one up yesterday because it seemed to be calling to me...only it disapeared when I got home.
Today a friend did a reading for me & saw me surrounded by Birds!! *grins*
Then you post this...synchros are so much fun!:) xxxxx

This card is telling me to take my time, to let things incubate and nurture, and the results will come at their own pace. I needed that, today.

I'm in the process of planning to move out with my boyfriend. The process is not easy, and it's involving some mental hurdles for both of us. (I will be moving out of my mom's house for the first time; he will be moving away from his brothers, whom he's very close to.) While I want him to be excited and raring to go, he isn't. He's a man who likes to take his time, really think things over, and come to his conclusions after lots of thought.

This card is telling me I can't rush him. I need to nurture the relationship and let it develop and "hatch" in its own time. I need to stay calm and patient. Pecking at the egg in the hopes that it will hatch faster is counterproductive, both for bird eggs and for my boyfriend.

    Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,
    Julie

What a wonderful concept for Four of Air. A dove has nested over our front door atop a hurricane shutter. I don't know how she balances up there on the precarious metal edge...through rain and wind. But she seems calm, in control and very much in the moment. In order to nurture life she must sit patiently upon her eggs. Your piece is so reinforcing of the wonders of nature; and how it can serve as a reminder that it's okay to just take a breath and be content to rest in one's nest for a while.

Love all of your comments, thank you! Halfway through this week, I find I'm also incubating the new design and content for my revised web design website . . . which is not quite ready to show to the world. I love designing websites . . . it's just as creative (in a different way) from creating a piece of artwork or jewelry. I feel very blessed today.

I have the blue heron fly by me often when I'm at work! This bird always reminds me to go my own way, at my own pace. I've also been incubating a short story idea, and this 4 of air card with the egg tells me literally to keep holding it within me, that it's coming but not to rush it.

I love all your cards, by the way, and find they illuminate something new each time I look at them.
