On the second day of Advent, my true love sent to me:
A dazzling star-show in the evening sky, a conjunction of Venus & Jupiter & the Maiden Moon.
Weaver of Wonder,
you have stretched the net of the heavens to catch a school of stars.
I celebrate the network of the universe
and silently wonder at my own part in it.
I give thanks that within your tapestry I am safely woven.
Grant me understanding of your bright mystery.
May the Keeper of the Cosmos
and the Kindler of Starlight
attend me this day as I go forth.
