Gaian Tarot Music Video!
Somewhere online I stumbled across Animoto, a great little service that allows you to make your own music videos — or rather they make them for you. It's free if your video is 30 seconds, or $3.00 for a full song. Such a deal! You can upload your art or photographs and add a tune, and they do the rest. How cool is that? (Of course you need to be sure you have the permission of the copyright holder for both music and images.)
So here's my Gaian Tarot video, set to Craig's "Circle Song," which he recorded about ten years ago on his CD "Beyond the Cedar Moon." Enjoy!

Hecate, thanks for posting it on your blog. I do have a Mac and iMovie but have never explored it . .. I wonder if it is as automated as Animoto. Will check it out, thank you.

How incredible! Did you tell them what pictures went where? I could watch this over and over. The music is my flavor as well. It moves me without overwhelming me.

Arwen, thanks so much! No it didn't give me any control over where the photos went, although it looks like they did follow the order in which I uploaded them, if that makes sense. If I made my very own video from scratch (using iMovie maybe, as Hecate suggests), I think I'd try to match the elemental cards with the lyrics of the song.

There were so many new images I never saw before. I am humbled by your creative eye!
Also I went to PSG and who did I meet?
Your best friend in the women's bath house
we connected because I was blending my green smoothie with my magic bullet and she told
me she had been drinking green smoothies
for 30 years. Another woman told her who I was and then she told me she was your best friend. We laughed at how small our little karmic circle was. Next year she wants to get you to go. You should it is as great there as the Reader's Studio only the scenery is nicer.

Hey Julie! Yes Nora told me the same story about meeting you at PSG over green smoothies! Her website is: http://www.thresholdsoflife.org She has been trying to get me to go to PSG for years and next year may be it. I'm just not crazy about camping in the heat but I will overcome my trepidation.
And yes you should MOST DEFINITELY make a video of your Ma'at Tarot images! Can't wait to see it!
