Sketch - Seven of Water
Yes I'm back on track with the Sevens and feeling so good about it!
For me, the Sevens are about: being focused on your path (like that Major 7, the Chariot); initiation; setting a goal; inner work. Water of course is the suit of dreams, compassion, spirituality and love, as well as fantasy and illusion.
Here we see a fellow who has chosen one dream out of many possible dreams, and is drinking it down. It's the moment of commitment for him.
In a nice bit of synchronicity, this week I initiated a new goal for myself: an early morning water aerobics class. How's that for a literal reading of this card!

Oh, I could really use that energy in my life! I tend to dither over those cups and never choose one to drink.
I like it, both the meaning and the image, especially those pretty cups.

I love this! Like Inanna above, I tend to dither. Showing the moment of commitment to the choice is more powerful for me.

I love it. The imagery is fabulous and I like the energy. Like Angela said, you captured the moment of decision and commitment. Looking forward to seeing it in color.

Wow! This looks just like my druid buddy Ray - I'm going to send him a link. I think he will see the significance. Thanks.

I LIKE this drawing. The variety of glassware is beautifully captured as is the moment of commitment.

Thank you all — so glad you like it!

Beautiful.
It is unusual because he actually makes a decision: he chooses a cup and drinks from it. It moves on a little bit from the traditional RWS images.

WOW -- this must be "everyman" ... one person saw her Druid friend and I say put a lei on him instead of that shirt, and have it be shell that he's drinking from and it's the image of an Hawaiian dancer I saw this week!!
Beautiful card .. I'm looking forward to seeing it in colour!

Yes, a wonderful image. I appreciate how you have aligned the meaning and movement of the card with the meaning and (wonderful!) movement of the The Canoe. Your minors are harmonized with your majors. The RWS card in its name, the Chariot, seems to imply movement, but the minor 7s are more about indecision or confused movement. On further study, I think we do see that the Chariot is in the moment before movement so this is not really misaligned. But it is a more hidden or mysterious meaning. Those esotercists! :)
