A beautiful place, Sister Joanna, and a beautiful image as though you are living in the middle of a lovely quiet evergreen forest. I'll wager your garden smells wonderful after that snowfall.
Can I just say that that is the most awesome gateway into the forest that I have ever seen? I can almost see a scene from "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" manifesting right before my eyes...
Thank you, Cate and Charyn. It's hard to believe, but there are houses on either side of us, close by. They are hidden by the big trees. And all the houses back up to five acres of woods, then the mountain beyond. Yes, it is lovely and magical!
